Missing Important Biographical Information

[edit]

It's important to note that Jia Zhangke was once censored in mainland China when in his 30s, before the production of _The World_, which then became his first officially sanctioned film. This brief but important point is missing in the article. It marks a stark difference in that he was able to show his films to the people of China. References can be found here: [1]

Additional space in awards section of infobox

[edit]

If anyone knows how to get rid of the additional blank space in the awards section of the infobox, that’d be great thanks Foxhunt38 (talk) 00:08, 6 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The Wikipedia article about Zhangke Jia is generally coherent, objective and fair, clear in structure, and citations are true and reliable, but some of the information is outdated and not updated in time. At the same time, some parts can be more detailed, so that his image can be introduced more multi-dimensionally. In particular, as an artist, examining and understanding his specific historical and cultural context is the premise of interpreting him. This Wikipedia article is somewhat simplistic in its introduction to the historical background. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wenqi Zhang (talkcontribs) 21:56, 20 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
