Claim to notability

The LEAD section should be written to place the claim to notability at the beginning of the article, as that is the most important thing a READER needs to know. This person is primarily known for losing US$691 million in currency trades and then trying to hide his losses from his employer. Who he worked for and the fact that he went to prison are really incidental details that, while interesting, do not need to be in the first paragraph of the article. However, this article is currently written more like a promotion piece than an encyclopedic article. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 09:16, 13 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
