Last issue?

[edit]

It says when the first issue was published (and even that’s only the year), but when was the last one?

What newspaper was he a "scribe"at?

[edit]

Just reading the Life section, which states the subject was a "scribe" at a newspaper.

Um, what newspaper? If he was, indeed, a scribe at an existing newspaper then his newspaper cannot, logically, be the first newspaper.

I don't have access to the source material, anyone else know what this (I assume) earlier newspaper is that is referred to in this article?

Muhlbach-sur-Munster?

[edit]

Johann Carolus was born before France annexed the Alsace. There's no reason to use the modern french name of his birthplace. 2003:F1:6701:AE03:20DE:C8F2:3FEC:FFFA (talk) 01:43, 7 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
