Neutrality and Other Issues

[edit]

I just finished rewriting the introduction and history sections using the preexisting information, but the rest of the article needs work. Much of the article lacks sources and/or needs rewriting so that it doesn't sound like an advertisement. Also, I'm not sure whether its appropriate to remove the "History at a Glance" section, since I converted all but the specific dates into paragraph form in the history section above. Any suggestions? -5reided (talk) 15:09, 8 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I suspect that for the most part dates beyond years, and maybe months, are not really relevant. You might want to add back the years in the sentence that mentions "a series of land donations". Other than that, the section is a duplication now and not needed. Don Lammers (talk) 16:54, 8 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I did some cleanup on some of the sections from the zoo down. Hope this helps.--Wikimedes (talk) 07:49, 26 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ten commandments issue

[edit]

The park was once the location of a religious statue, since removed. http://www.kboi2.com/news/40286327.html This seems the only nationally notable thing about the park. 99.104.126.16 (talk) 00:18, 19 July 2012 (UTC) Does the park need to be "nationally notable"? 65.121.128.194 (talk) 01:47, 16 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

removing POV tag with no active discussion per Template:POV

[edit]

I've removed an old neutrality tag from this page that appears to have no active discussion per the instructions at Template:POV:

This template is not meant to be a permanent resident on any article. Remove this template whenever:
  1. There is consensus on the talkpage or the NPOV Noticeboard that the issue has been resolved
  2. It is not clear what the neutrality issue is, and no satisfactory explanation has been given
  3. In the absence of any discussion, or if the discussion has become dormant.

Since there's no evidence of ongoing discussion, I'm removing the tag for now. If discussion is continuing and I've failed to see it, however, please feel free to restore the template and continue to address the issues. Thanks to everybody working on this one! -- Khazar2 (talk) 00:59, 18 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the related "peacock" tag for the same reasons.  Etamni | ✉  23:35, 6 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
