Potentially useful/reliable Korean language sources

[edit]

The Korean sources seem to indicate that he moved to the North specifically during the Korean war. This would confirm from a reliable source that he was a defector, rather than potentially being an immigrant, or still having his South Korean citizenship. Some of the sources speculate that he died as a result of a suicide after he was sacked, or that he disappeared in the purges of 1967. At least one of the sources mentions Kapsan faction incident (an attempted coup against Kim Il-sung). Korean sources also commonly assume that he may have died in either 1966 or 1967. I have added a few of the better newspaper sources here, and I will try to find more of them. Ceosad (talk) 02:50, 6 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
