I've found User:Siyuwj/Sandbox/0 through following links on the Chinese Wikipedia article's talk page. I see that it is (more or less) a direct translation of the Chinese Wikipedia article. Perhaps in the future we could merge and expand the article...? -- 李博杰  | Talk contribs email 07:12, 11 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Certainly, but it appears to have been stopped at the time I started this article. Since I do not speak Chinese, I'm taking it to WP:CHINA. Regards, Comte0 (talk) 22:07, 16 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Clarify for non-Chinese?

[edit]

So who is Li Gang? From context apparently he was saying "My dad is someone important/famous!" ZoneSeek 13:22, 18 November 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by ZoneSeek (talkcontribs)

His father was the deputy director of the local public security bureau. Apparently the silly kid who ran over and killed the girl whilst drink-driving believed that to be an amazing position of power to be held. (It's really nothing; think of it in the western sense as something like a police chief) -- 李博杰  | Talk contribs email 13:54, 18 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I clarified the text, adding a link to Corruption in the People's Republic of China. There's an article about Public security bureaus, but I guess we need a link to clarify what a deputy director exactly is. Regards, Comte0 (talk) 16:11, 18 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Was there a crime here?

[edit]

I mean other than if your father is the sherif in some jerk-water town, you can get away with runnin folks down like dogs. I see it listed in related crime categories. --Threeafterthree (talk) 17:48, 21 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

May have been arrested=

[edit]

According to economist magazine this week, the irresponsible son was arrested, apparently when the political party realized the case was costing them too much
