Official website

[edit]

Lisakelly.org IS Kelly's official website. It was launched in Feb 2007 but was hacked in Mar 2007 and has been down since. For the time being her old site will have to suffice but .org is official. Sharpvisuals 05:29, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, all I know is that the CelticWoman.com site links to the .com website, so for the time being, lets leave it as that. There's no reason to link to a dead website. -- Huntster T • @ • C 07:41, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Lisa's new official web site is www . lisakellysite . com/. It was launched early in 2009. (Reropes (talk) 23:20, 15 November 2009 (UTC))[reply]
Now, Lisa's domain and fansite domain are expired. :( --87.1.156.2 (talk) 18:33, 14 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Birth Name

[edit]

Lisa Kelly is her birth name, not Laoise Ní Cheallaigh. That is only the Irish Gaelic translation and since only a small percentage of Ireland are native Gaelic speakers, her name is Lisa Kelly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.23.77.202 (talk) 02:16, 8 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Also if the name Laoise Ni Cheallaigh is correct, it has never been confirmed by a credible source so until it is, the name Lisa Kelly should be cited only. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.23.77.202 (talk) 21:49, 8 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Laoise Ni Cheallaigh is only a translation in a language that she does not even speak. The language isn't spoken by the majority of people in Ireland and English is the offical language, therefore her legal name would be Lisa Kelly. There is also no offical citation available that can confirm that Laoise Ni Cheallaigh is even the correct translation. He name she be kept as Lisa Kelly until proper citation is found. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.124.224.51 (talk) 16:38, 9 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, you've raised an opposition and voiced some good points. All parties, please back away. Unless a citation can be provided for the Irish name being her birth name, let's leave it out of the infobox. Thanks. Huntster (t@c) 02:42, 10 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Lisa has confirmed on Facebook that the birthname was wrong: https://www.facebook.com/lisakellysings/videos/572467516600111/ (see her comments a bit after the 1:02:00 mark) DavidGrayson (talk) 05:11, 31 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request
