Comment There sure seem to be a lot of Persian language sources reporting about her and her being banned from performance; is there anyone fluent in Persian who could confirm / deny that they are not reliable sources? Furius (talk) 12:45, 25 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hey I think Linking the Persian sources here would be a good idea. Did you mention that most of them pertain to her being banned from performing? That would be largely covered under WP:1E then. Oh, and this event was also reported in the Daily Mail etc: [13] !

A number of the sources on the banning seem to comment on its significance as an indication of current women's freedoms in Iran. If WP:1E does apply, then the event should have an article. Delete This article should be speedy deleted, I did check all links provided by Furius it is all about Hamid Askari (famous iranian singer who doesn't article in enwiki), there was an incident during one of Hamid Askari's concert which lead to some media fuss but nevertheless this single incident doesn't warrant notability Mardetanha (talk) 07:15, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
