The result was speedy delete‎. The author of the article agreed to deletion, and it was deleted, so the AfD should have been closed as speedy delete, but for some reason someone decided to tag it as WP:G6, which it wasn't, and it was deleted anyway because who cares, and this didn't cause any problems until thirteen years later when I ran the Oracle and saw it choking on a few error pages, such as this one. Now I am fixing it. Out, damned spot! jp×g🗯️ 06:24, 8 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

WP:ONEEVENT. There also seems to be a lot of opinion and uncited information in this article. Mr. Vernon (talk) 17:01, 16 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article should be deleted. His family is unhappy that it is being added so close to the anniversary. As creator of the page I am mortified to have upset them in an attempt to protect another article. I can't find the delete button - if you could delete it for me I would be grateful. I had intended to add the citations for other details later but now wish to remove the article altogether. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Evidence Only (talkcontribs) 21:23, 16 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
