You cited WP:NMUSIC #10 and #12, however both are past tense: has been and has performed. Can you provide some AfD examples for future entrant articles that were kept to support your stated precedent? I've personally only seen AfDs after they've participated and for which you rightfully point out that many are kept. Keep He is Germany's entrant for Eurovision so *is* notable. I think the difficulty comes from him being pretty much a complete unknown prior to the Contest so there are very little sources available. But that is, in itself, notable, for someone to be plucked from obscurity into the Finals of one of the world's most popular music competitions. By the strict rules of Wikipedia notability guidelines, his article might need deleting. BUT there is context here which can't be ignored. doktorb _words^deeds 06:49, 23 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Speedy keep. He's representing his country in Eurovision and is notable per WP:NMUSIC. Furthermore, there is a precedent for other artists who are representing their country in Eurovision getting a page of their own. ser! (chat to me). 12:36, 23 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
