Not notable in 2023. It did not have lasting impact that significantly altered the course of the country's history or its healthcare system. Most of the changes were short-term responses to immediate concerns.
Information about the strike should be incorporated into a more comprehensive article about Sierra Leone's healthcare system/labour disputes. No need to have standalone articles about past COVID strikes unless it is a really notable strike with similarly notable lasting consequences. Chamaemelum (talk) 19:14, 4 July 2023 (UTC)

- Keep according to WP:GNG, notability is not temporary. Most strikes and protests do not alter a country's history or a major system. Luckily, impact is not the standard by which we judge notability. For an event in one of the poorest countries in the world to be coverage by multiple source in an in-depth manner (which this event was) should indicate that it is notable by Wikipedia's standards.--User:Namiba 20:07, 4 July 2023 (UTC)
- Keep - appears amply covered by major international news outlets, arguably one of the major stories coming out from Sierra Leone that year. --Soman (talk) 21:35, 4 July 2023 (UTC)
- Keep I am sympathetic to incorporating this article into existing/larger articles about labor disputes in Sierre Leone, but as they don't exist, this is effectively an important start of such an article. This should remain, and when there are opportunities for a merge, let's go there. ~ 🦝 Shushugah (he/him • talk) 00:43, 5 July 2023 (UTC)
