Article declined 4 times in 5 days SeraphWiki (talk) 12:05, 9 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hold on: Kind of quick on the trigger here; draft isn't even a week old. While the draft as written has no hope in mainspace, the rapid-fire submissions is something that ought to be addressed by talking to the editor and, if it's disruptive, seeking sanctions. That said, I think it's pretty likely that this isn't going to be useful to anybody and is just a WP:FAKEARTICLE. —/Mendaliv//Δ's/ 00:51, 10 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I went over the RfC about notability and Mfd, while I admittedly didn't read every comment, there seemed to be fairly strong support for considering notability in cases where drafts were rapidly resubmitted and did not have any realistic probability of becoming articles. I should have mentioned that, because there could be situations where a draft was declined several times in a short period but was still generally on track to becoming an article. I don't agree that escalating to sanctions is necessarily the first step, and I'm not an admin, so its not my call when to sanction - but they will usually do it when a deleted article is recreated multiple times in a way that becomes disruptive and a block is necessary to prevent further disruption.SeraphWiki (talk) 01:22, 10 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
