WikiJournal license

[edit source]

Hi! I noticed that the info on the page WikiJournal Preprints/Body image disturbance in eating disorders says that "License: This is an open access article distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike License, which permits ..." and the link goes to cc-by-sa-3.0.

Wikipedia is now 4.0. So I wonder if at some point WikiJournal should fix license information to link to 4.0 (for newer articles). Do you know anything about that? --MGA73 (discusscontribs) 07:56, 30 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

I have no information about that, so I will contact another user involved in the management of WikiJournal. MathXplore (discusscontribs) 07:58, 30 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

@MGA73 @MathXplore Many of the backlogged submissions that were adapted from existing Wikipedia articles were submitted to WikiJournal before WMF transitioned the license from CC 3.0 to 4.0. In the future, yes, new publications will be using 4.0 license by default. OhanaUnitedTalk page 14:56, 30 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
@ Thanks User:OhanaUnited. I just wanted to be sure that the new license was not forgotten. I noticed because of this file File:Body image disturbance in eating disorders.pdf that did not have a license template. --MGA73 (discusscontribs) 17:41, 30 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for the quick response. MathXplore (discusscontribs) 00:41, 31 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
