Obviously wrong definition

[edit]
# Colloquial, to exhibit great energy, as one who is in the manic phase of [[manic depression]].

I'm not sure if this is savable or real; 'exhibiting great energy' where energy needs to be made clearer (an atomic bomb exhibits great energy but it isn't manic) could be real. It sounds the same as psychiatry definition just focusing on the visible behavior not the whole episode of mania. Also manic-depressive (which is usually called bipolar at least in 21st century UK English) might be real as a shortened but ultimately confusing form of manic-depressive. Sorry, forgot to say I think this can also mean frantic, as in 'she was manic while trying to get to the church on time'. This doesn't imply any craziness, just stressedness, franticness. Mglovesfun (talk) 09:55, 29 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
