Evidence?

[edit]

What's the evidence for this form? —Rua (mew) 13:11, 20 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

I forgot to save the page. Please see it now. --{{victar|talk}} 16:51, 20 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
I don't see how this could be right. A geminated "kk" wouldn't have yielded "hh" in OHG. 178.4.151.88 04:05, 25 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
Or anyway, I don't know if the form exists, but the OHG is at any rate not from it, so I'm putting back under *sprâku where it belongs. 178.4.151.88 04:10, 25 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
Wut... the OHG has a germinated k. --{{victar|talk}} 04:26, 25 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
Where? I still see no evidence for a geminate on this page. —Rua (mew) 11:08, 28 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
Hi Victar, I noticed that none of the attested forms show a geminate k (e.g. sprǣċe). Are we sure we have the term correctly shaped ? Leasnam (talk) 16:37, 28 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
