Tämä on luettelo Amerikan suurimmista metropolialueista. Luettelossa on otettu huomioon myös kaksoiskaupungit jotka sijaitsevat kahden valtion alueella – yleensä Kanadan ja Yhdysvaltojen tai Meksikon ja Yhdysvaltojen rajalla. Luettelossa on otettu huomioon Pohjois- Etelä- ja Keski-Amerikan valtiot.
