For whatever reason, when on mobile, the page simply refreshes when clicking translate (after selecting the page to translate) rather than taking you to the edit screen.
Talk:Content translation
Hello @Lee Vilenski,
Sorry about your experience with the translate button. It will help a lot if you will indicate the following things:
- Which article were you translating and to which language
- Which browser did you use (Firefox, Chrome, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Safari, Opera, etc.)
- If you're getting any errors, please provide log from browser console if possible. To open browser console: press Ctrl+Shift+j (or cmd+alt+J () on a Mac).
Indicating the above will help the Engineers solve the problem. Thank you!
No problem, it's specifically the mobile view, I use chrome, but I've tried it on Edge. It doesn't matter the language or the article in question.

Hello @G.castelain,
Are you reporting an issue or having a problem using the Content translation tool? If you are, can you be more specific and provide the following information:
- Which article were you translating, and to which language?
- Which browser did you use (Firefox, Chrome, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Safari, Opera, etc.)
- If you're getting any errors, please provide a log from the browser console if possible. To open the browser console, press Ctrl+Shift+j (or cmd+alt+J () on a Mac).
I tried to translate the entry ‘北京师范大学珠海校区’(https://w.wiki/AMi3) into English, but after the translation was completed it was restricted and could not be posted. I can only use the finished translation as a draft. Here is the link:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Xuechang1/Beijing_Normal_University_at_Zhuhai. I hope I can upload my translation.
Hello @Xuechang1
You can only publish a translation on the English Wikipedia if you are an extended confirmed editor. You can learn more about this restriction on this page.
Thank you!

I used Google translate and the translation is perfect with very minor edits such as punctation, yet Wiki won' t accept it because it contains 98% of the original text... It is a fucking translation! What did you expect, you fucking morons? A new text? A fucking novel? Get a fucking grip!
