English: National Museum of Decorative Arts of Spain, at 12 Calle de Montalbán (street, Retiro district) in Madrid. Building was made in the last third of the 19th century as a palace–house for the Duchess of Santoña, and extended in 1909 as a teacher-training school. It was opened as a museum in 1932, and declared an Artistic Historical Monument in 1962.

El edificio fue erigido en el último tercio del siglo XIX como casa–palacio para la Duquesa de Santoña, y ampliado en 1909 como escuela de Magisterio. Fue abierto como museo en 1932, y declarado Monumento Histórico Artístico en 1962.
