Hello.

Can you create simple:National Archive Department of Azerbaijan and « Category:Archives in Azerbaijan » (Q22029602) (e.g. like tr:Kategori:Rusya'daki arşivler) in Turkish Wikipedia?

Edits for Mustafa Kemal Atatürk

[edit]

The reasons were to remove some redundancy in the alternate names for our database (ex. we don't need an unaccented version of a name) and to follow the style guidelines to some extant (https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Help:Aliases). If the names are legitimate and used in verified sources, then my apologies for removing them. Thank you for asking about it. PerkyPoppies (talk) 15:31, 10 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Kurdistan Workers' Party

[edit]

Hi

There is no official definition of terrorism that is accepted by all countries and societies in the world.

Also it is against the policy of Wikipedia to remain neutral in political conflicts.

Just Turkish definition and English title of the page are mentioned that that Kurdistan Workers' Party is a terrorist organization, and it is you that is keeping the word "terrorist" on page. You can't find it in other languages.

Please stop naming Kurdistan Workers' Party a terrorist organization.

Atatürk

[edit]

Hello Aybeg. Can I learn why you removed some useful content from the Atatürk page? For example Başkomutan, Ebedi Şef, Ulu Önder. Uncitoyen (talk) 22:04, 28 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Merhaba Uncitoyen. Ulu Önder'in tarafsızlık ilkesine uymadığını düşündüm. Bu gibi nedenlerle aynı gün iki sayfada daha değişiklik yaptım. Adolf Hitler'in sayfasındaki Führer'i kaldırmak da aklıma geldi ama yapmadım. - Aybeg (talk) 09:38, 29 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'm only speaking for these three words (Başkomutan, Ebedi Şef, Ulu Önder) I have nothing to say for some of words that you removed. But what I said above is already words used by most people. These are normal just as George Washington is the father of America or Führer. You said that these words violate the principle of neutrality, but I want you to show whether Wikidata's NPOV. There are also many resources for these three used words. You also said that these aren't Atatürk's names. It is not necessary to have names in that part. Uncitoyen (talk) 19:33, 30 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Anladım. İsterseniz o kelimeleri ekleyebilirsiniz. - Aybeg (talk) 11:17, 31 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe some more content can be removed because (everything is very similair), but I added them as a result of your comment. These phrases have been using in Turkey. I apologize for writing in English. Because the language of this wiki is English in general. Uncitoyen (talk) 15:56, 31 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Merge

[edit]

Thank you for your work in maintaining Wikidata. I have a small suggestion to improve your future work. If you notice that two items are duplicates, please merge them instead of blanking one of them. External sites use Wikidata identifiers, so it is important that we preserve the chain of references. We do this by making one item a redirect for the other. In particular, item ids are intended to be a permanent identifier, so we never reuse them for another concept. See Help:Merge for more information on how to merge items, and consider installing the Merge Gadget. Thanks!  Madamebiblio (talk) 17:20, 19 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
