Also, removal of the administrator tools on the old account does not prevent restoring them on the new account, and only the latter can be done by bureaucrats. Hello there. This is me, one of inactive admins at hr. wiki. Whence the idleness? I've lost my password and e-mail details long time ago, not to mention disillusion regarding the whereabouts of our project back in the day. Before I go on, I'd like to express my willingness to fully cooperate on establishing my identity. Some of the fellow senior sysops could vouch for me, namely Roberta F., Kubura and SpeedyGonsales.
I haven't exactly conducted any serious action to get my rights back as of yet, this being the first one. I assume that it would have been business as usual had I been able to access my old account. Since I can't log in as of many a year ago, and I still possess my sysop rights, I'd like to know what the chances are for me getting the adminship on this account?

- The only means to have access to that account, and its rights, is for you to log into that account; we have no means to give you access to that account. Re rights to this current account, that can only come from your community approving the rights, it is not something that stewards can do without the community's authority and as hrWP has their own bureaucrats they manage that aspect anyway. — billinghurst sDrewth 10:17, 24 November 2014 (UTC)

Global rename
Hi! I want to get renamed from Edgars2007 to simply Edgars, but unfortunantely, there are some wikis where Edgars (not me) has made some edits. I suppose there won't be any problems at huwiki (Edgars should be usurped in some next days), but what to do with ru.wiktionary (2 edits; practically - vandalism) and zh.wiki (1 edit - I read that there is no problem to usurp accounts with 1 edit)? I can make a new request with "sub-requests" (for each wiki's username usurpation + renaming my account)? I really want to get the Edgars username :) --Edgars2007 (talk) 15:21, 26 November 2014 (UTC)
Comment @Edgars2007: There are multiple (9) local accounts in the way, though some (6) with zero edits. Is this really necessary, especially as you have many edits and presumably many links. — billinghurst sDrewth 22:45, 26 November 2014 (UTC)
