Background

We need to document and structure the process to manage the submission of patches by volunteers effectively. Currently, there is no clear workflow and ownership to review the patches submitted by volunteers. Also, we need to define the process for addressing patches that include work that we didn't plan to work on.

We need to:

• Integrate patch reviews into our planning process
• Establish methods to resolve issues with patches submitted by volunteers
• Develop guidelines for what volunteers should work on and ensure their contributions align with our project goals

Acceptance criteria for Done

• Document the process for collaborating with volunteers on patch submissions.
• Create a task template for volunteers' contributions to ensure clear acceptance criteria.
