Saʻadiah ben Yosef Gaon (Arabic: سعيد بن يوسف الفيومي / סעיד בן יוסף אלפיומי Hebrew: רבי סעדיה בן יוסף אלפיומי גאון' or in short: סעדיה גאון), also called Saadia b. Joseph, Saadia ben Joseph or Saadia ben Joseph of Faym or Saadia ben Joseph Al-Fayyumi was a prominent rabbi and Jewish philosopher of the Geonic period. He was born in Egypt in 882/892 and died in Baghdad in 942.
