Sebastian Brant

Sebastian Brant (or Brandt) (1458 – 10 May 1521) was a German humanist and satirist.[1] He was also professor of jurisprudence in University of Basel. His moral satire Das Narrenschiff (Ship of Fools) published in 1494 made him popular German humanist.
