First Blood is 1982 American action movie directed by Ted Kotcheff and was based on the 1972 novel of the same name by David Morrell. It stars Sylvester Stallone, Richard Crenna, Brian Dennehy, Bill McKinney, David Caruso, Alf Humphreys and was distributed by Orion Pictures. It is the first movie in the Rambo franchise.
