François Scarborough Clemmons (born April 23, 1945)^[1] is an African-American singer, actor, playwright, and university lecturer, best known for his appearances on Mister Rogers' Neighborhood from 1968 to 1993.^[2]

Clemmons is openly gay.^[3]
