Joshua Holt Hamilton (born May 21, 1981, in Raleigh, North Carolina) is a Major League Baseball player who currently plays for the Los Angeles Angels. In the 2010 season he was named American League MVP. He last played for the Cincinnati Reds and Texas Rangers but chose to play for the Angels after they offered him a 5-year contract, worth $125 million.[1]
