Kathryn Hays (born Kay Piper, July 26, 1933 – March 25, 2022[1]) was an American actress. She was best known for her role as Kim Hughes on the CBS soap opera, As the World Turns from 1972 to 2010.[2] She was born in Princeton, Illinois and grew up in Joliet. Her career was mainly active at sitcoms during the 1960s and 1970s.[3]

Hays was married to actor Glenn Ford from 1966 to 1969.[4]

Hays' other appearances include guest roles in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Law & Order, Marcus Welby, M.D, Bonanza, and Branded.[5]

Hays died on March 25, 2022 in Fairfield, Connecticut at the age of 88.[6]
