You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold when contributing and assume good faith when interacting with others. This is a wiki.

Getting help

More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump.

Goodies, tips, and tricks
  • Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
  • You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
  • Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
  • To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
  • You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.
  • There are several tools to upload files.
  • Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful.
Made a mistake?
  • Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it.

Hi Bedivere, I noticed that you recently closed this discussion as delete, but only deleted two of the three nominated files. Since there wasn't any distinction made between any of the files in the discussion, I'm wondering if maybe this was just a minor oversight. Can you please have look? Thank you. Hi, there: All these pictures (Category:Jos%C3%A9_Abad_Azpilicueta) don't seem to be of the indicated author. The other way, they all seem to proceed from here: (https://josemariamuruzabal.com/articulos/diario_tribunaCultural/autores/azpilicueta/azpilicueta.pdf), a personal blog of my friend. The image is widely distributed on Twitter, but I failed to find a US gov account to post it, so I'm deleting it out of caution. If a US gov source is found it can be restored. Logos simple y tarjeton electoral en Venezuela (parte 2)

@Bedivere:Buenas, según el Usuario:NoonIcarus en Wikipedia (https://es.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usuario_discusi%C3%B3n:NoonIcarus?markasread=57051151&markasreadwiki=es wiki) con respecto al Logo de la MUD,A pesar de la licencia usada en Commons, creo que en el caso del logo de la MUD entra en juego el umbral de originalidad: es un logo relativamente sencillo, por lo que no aplica para derechos de autor. Lo mismo pasa con los logos de otros partidos políticos conformados sólo por texto figuras geométricas sencillas. y con respecto el tarjeton electoral:La boleta fue publicada bajo dicha licencia porque fue un documento publicado por el Consejo Nacional Electoral. He dado una leída rápida al texto pero no me parece que quede claro que ese dominio público se refiera al dominio público relativo a derechos de autor. Umbral de originalidad en Venezuela

El concepto es foráneo y como te dicen en Twitter, es el mínimo esfuerzo de originalidad. Como también te dicen la ley no lo dice explícitamente, por lo que solo podríamos basarnos en pronunciamientos judiciales venezolanos para saber cuál es el umbral, según su criterio, puesto que son los órganos judiciales los llamados a ejecutar y hacer cumplir la ley. Escudos de provincias de Ecuador

Hola, no sé bien en qué quedó el asunto, pero recuerdo que hubo una discusión sobre escudos de provincias de Ecuador y que se borraron varios. Veo que un usuario ha vuelto a subirlos, User:Luis Guevara 1969. Al ver sus subidas, me da la impresión que podría ser un títere creado para evitar bloqueos. Hi, I realized now that Category:Merrie Melodies intertitles and Category:Looney Tunes intertitles many files are above the TOO.
