 Comment; This is a US-market product, so we need only be concerned with the US threshold of originality here. That's generally quite a bit higher than it is in many other countries, and I'm not convinced that this meets that standard, i.e. is copyrightable. (Yes, it's a trademark, but that's a completely different issue). It could be argued that- despite its simplicity- the stylised sweet wrapper is artistically creative enough to be protected, but to me this looks mostly like non-copyrightable lettering.
