The statue is not placed in a permanent location. FOP Spain does not apply. 93.113.30.152 13:39, 5 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Keep The argumentation would be right if the statue copyright hadn't expired. Fortunately, any Manneken Pis' copyright has expired now (it was designed by Hiëronymus Duquesnoy the Elder, died c. 1641, and put in place in 1618 or 1619) and therefore, any derivative work would be copyrighted if and only if it had added new original artwork. However, painting it in green and wearing it with a snorkeling mask does not involve any creativity and is obviously below the threshold of originality. --Discasto talk | contr. | es.wiki analysis 15:26, 5 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted: Although an exact replica (size, color, material) of a PD sculpture would be free of copyright, even small changes gain a new copyright for the derivative work. The vivid color and the mask are not small changes. .     Jim . . . . (Jameslwoodward) (talk to me) 11:40, 12 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
