The Alerce Milenario Tree is located in a ravine, in the Alerce Coster National Park. The park is {{convert|137|ha|acre|abbr=off}}, and up to {{convert|1,048|m|ft|abbr=on}} above sea level. It has a rainy temperate climate with rains all year round. Its average temperature is 12°C.
