This image is from a low-resolution photo, reduced in, of a photo reproduced on page 3 of Thomas Yoseloff's (now long out of print) 1975 exhibition catalogue entitled "Jane Frank: a Retrospective Exhibition" (pub. 1975, A. S. Barnes) for Jane Frank's 1975 solo retrospective exhibition at Towson College. This image is clearly necessary for the article's discussion of Jane Frank's life and work. The fact that the photo is reduced in size and quality and furthermore not available anywhere else on the internet plainly makes its inclusion in this article an example of "fair use". The use of this photo here cannot possibly adversely affect the commercial prospects for future sale of this book, of the sculpture pictured, or of the art of Jane Frank in general — in fact, the likely effect (if any) should be quite the opposite.
