Hälleforsnäs is a locality situated in [[Flen Municipality]], [[Södermanland County]], [[Sweden]] with aboutapproximately 2000 inhabitants in 2020.

A littlesmall village in the municipality of Flen, it is centrally situated 15 km (9 miles) from [[Flen]], 32 km (20 miles) from [[Eskilstuna]], 40 km (25 miles) from [[Katrineholm]] and 120 km (75 mi) south-west of [[StockholStockholm]]m.

This village, has been awas hivean ofindustrial industrycenter until the beginning of the 1990s when the [[foundry]] that the villageit was built around wasceased closedoperations after 350 years (foundedin 1659)the early 1990s. NowadaysThe the Foundryfoundry is now a cultural centrecenter and once again a hivehub of activity.

TheBeginning in the 17th century, the foundry beganfunctioned as a cannon workshop. Here, cannons were mademanufactured and exported from here tofor the Swedish army in Europe. InThe thefoundry beginningswitched offrom theproducing 20thmilitary centuryproducts theto foundrycivilian startedradiators goingand overstoves toat civilthe production,beginning makingof radiatorsthe and20th stovescentury. Between 1920 and 1980 the main products were, pipes and other plumbing accessoriessupplies were the company's primary products.

With thefewer depopulation,people lower participationliving in Hälleforsnäs, fewer people voting, perand capitamore combinedpeople withmigrating urbanizationto seencities in Swedish industrial areas inat the latterend of the 20th century, the number of ballotsvotes cast in Hälleforsnästhere has declinedsignificantly substantiallydecreased.
