Knights Templar (Deus Ex): Difference between revisions

These Knights Templar believe themselves to be modern incarnations of the original Knights Templar. They are against biomodification and [[Nanotechnology]] believing it to be a 'plague' and 'infecting the soul.' They only use armour to enhance their physical strength to maintain their 'purity.' Their lack of biomodification makes non-armoured Templar Paladins (the name used by their ancient ancestors) easier to kill, but the Armoured Paladins are very difficult and only succeptable to [[Electromagnetic pulse|EMP]]. Their [[Fanaticism|religious fanaticism]] combined with their hatred of biomodification make them a dangerous organization to deal with. Their primary enemy, whom they hate with a passion, are [[Deus Ex: The Invisible War#The Omar|The Omar]].The player can choose to send the Aquinis AI to The Templars in one of the game's five unique endings; ''The Templar Flood''. The result of this ending is the end of biomodification and the unity of the world under the Templar leaders.
