These Knights Templar believe themselves to be modern incarnations of the original Knights Templar. They are against biomodification and Nanotechnology believing it to be a 'plague' and 'infecting the soul'. They only use armour to enhance their physical strength to maintain their 'purity'. Their lack of biomodification makes non-armoured Templar Paladins (the name used by their ancient ancestors) easier to kill, but the Armoured Paladins are very difficult and only succeptable to EMP. Their religious fanaticism combined with their hatred of biomodification make them a dangerous organisation to deal with. Their chief enemy that they hate with a passion is The Omar. These are a collective group of fully augmented half human-half cyborg beings. The Omar and Templars usually have regular skirmishes in cities all over the world. You can choose to send the Aquinis AI to The Templars as one of five endings you can choose from: The Templar Flood. The result of this ending is the end of biomodification and the unity of the world under the Templar leaders.
