SB19 themed ''Pagtatag!'' around "identity strengthening" and its songs explored topics onof [[empowerment]], commitment, [[Love song|love]], [[mental health]], and liberation in it, some of which were inspired by the band's struggles. "[[Gento (song)|Gento]]" was released ahead ofas the EP as its's [[lead single]] to critical acclaim and commercial success, reaching top 15 chart positions in the Philippines and on [[Billboard (magazine)|''Billboard'']]{{'s}} [[World Digital Song Sales]] chart.

''Pagtatag!'' received generally favorable reviews from [[Music journalism|music critics]] with praise for the boy band's creative evolvement and the EP's musicality, lyricism, and diversitylyricism, but itsone considered the closing track, "Freedom", was deemed lacking; the EP has been featured on 2023 year-end rankings and several of its songs received awards from local award-giving bodies.
