The Greek text of this codex is a representative of the [[Alexandrian text-type]] (rather proto-Alexandrian). [[Kurt Aland|Aland]] placed it in [[Categories of New Testament manuscripts#Category I|Category I]].<ref name = Aland/> This manuscript displaysexhibits textual agreement with [[Papyrus 18]], [[Papyrus 47]], and [[Codex AlexandrinusSinaiticus]], but survived fragment is too small to determine its overall textual affinities.<ref name = Comfort/>
 
It is currently housed at the Franklin Trask Library [[Andover Newton Theological School]] (OP 1230) in [[Newton, Massachusetts]].<ref name = Aland/>
