Suhum, Ghana

Suhum is a town and the capital of the Suhum/Kraboa/Coaltar district, a district in the Eastern Region of Akanland.[2] As of 2012, Suhum has a settlement population of 47,853 people.[1]

Demographics

At the Ghana census of 26 March 2000, the population was 31,044 inhabitants living in the town. Projections of 1 January 2007 estimated the population at 36,650 inhabitants. In the census of 1984, the population was 19,298 inhabitants and in the year 1970, the population was 12,421 inhabitants.[1]
