Hello, Relayed! I see you are part of Tambayan Philippines' music task force, so I assume it's appropriate to ask you this question. I'm currently working on a new article for Bini's "Karera" song as it is listed in the AfC section of the task force page. I'm currently contemplating the infobox song template during the process. The song, "Karera", is composed by three people from FlipMusic, but three members of the P-pop group contributed by writing the rap parts of the song. I'm currently stuck about whether the three members are included in the composer parameter of the infobox or have them in the lyricist parameter. On a side note, I would also like to ask whether the song has other specific genres besides pop music. I would like to hear your thoughts about these. Thanks! :Hi, AstrooKai! I am glad to see you active in covering Bini on Wikipedia. Side note, "Karera" is by far my favorite in their discography.
:To note, a "composer" refers to the ones who write the music, a "lyricist" refers to the lyrics, and a "songwriter" refers to the ones who did both music and lyrics. The three Bini members can be placed in the lyricist parameter. However, I saw an article that suggests Nica Del Rosario of FlipMusic wrote both music and lyrics, while I am not sure for the rest of the FlipMusic crew, so she needs to be included in the lyricist as well if you are to use those parameters. I rarely see both "composer(s)" and "lyricist(s)" put into use in pop culture related song articles, especially those from the West, so I suggest, list them all using the "songwriter(s)" parameter instead to avoid irregularity unless you can find a reliable source to differentiate both composers and lyricists of the song.
:With regards to the genres for the genre, I have not read sources about "Karera", so I cannot give an answer to that yet, but I can try do a search for you. I will let you know once I find something useful for the article you are working on. If you have any more questions or anything I can do to help, feel free to send another message.
