8,366 population/423 sq mi = 19.8 people per square mile. 8,366/415 (land only) is 20.2. The 18.6 figure is from reference 3, which is based on a population of 7,851 (7,851/423=18.6). According to the table at [[Perry County, Tennessee#Demographics]], 7,851 is between the census figure for 2000 and 2010. So should we use population 8,366, 7,851, or both?
