Overhaul

Did a major overhaul of the page yesterday and today, adding lots of content and sourcing to get it hopefully to a higher class, and reorgnaizing it in line with the WikiProject US Counties template. Please update as needed! Still want to add a bit more about the pre-European settlement history of the county, a mention of the not insignificant fossil finds in the area, and expand on the county history of the mid 20th century. nf utvol (talk) 01:13, 16 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

I agree with a "B" rating. The largest county article I know of is at 90 kB; the largest non-urbanized county I know of is at 54kB. Perry County is currently at 18 kB "readable prose size", which means there is lots of room to add more things. The rules are explained at Wikipedia:Article_size#A_rule_of_thumb.--Epiphyllumlover (talk) 20:37, 25 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
Okay, I think we're about where we need to be for a GA review. I'm starting to run out of places to find good information...still wish I had more history from 1930-1990, but there just is not a lot out there on such a rural county.nf utvol (talk) 00:21, 7 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned references in Perry County, Tennessee

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Perry County, Tennessee's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 14:17, 15 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
