The 18th Niue Assembly is the current term of the Niue Assembly. Its composition was determined by the 2023 election, held on 29 April 2023.[1] Members of the 17th Niue Assembly, Crossley Tatui and Esa Mona Sharon Ainuu have remained as members of Premier Dalton Tagelagi's Cabinet, and Sonya Talagi, a newly-elected common roll assembly member was appointed. This marks the first time in the history of Niue that the Cabinet has been gender-balanced (including Tagelagi as the chair of the Cabinet).[2][3]
