The 2022–23 snooker season is an upcoming professional snooker season with tournaments played between July 2022 and May 2023.
Players
The World Snooker Tour in the 2022–23 season consists of a field of 128 professional players.[1] The top 64 players from the prize money rankings after the 2022 World Championship, and those players earning a two-year card the previous year automatically qualify for the season. Next, four places are allocated to the top eight on the One Year Ranking List who have not already qualified for the Main Tour. Another four players came from the CBSA China Tour, and a further 14 places were available through the Q School (four Event 1 winners, four Event 2 winners, four Event 3 winners) and 2 from the Order of Merit. A brand new Asia-Oceania Q School was announced and four places were offered to the finalists of the two events that were run for the inaugural edition.
New professional players
All players listed below received a tour card for two seasons.[1]
