Christiansfeld municipality ceased to exist as the result of [[Municipalities of Denmark#Municipal Reform 2007|''Kommunalreformen'' ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007)]]. Bjerning, Hjerndrup and Fjelstrup parishes of Christiansfeld municipality were merged with [[Gram municipality|Gram]], [[Haderslev]] and [[Vojens]] municipalities to form a new Haderslev municipality. The remainder of the municipality was merged into a new [[Kolding municipality]].

Christiansfeld - population 2,846 (2008) - is a town in Kolding Municipality in southern Jutland in Region Syddanmark in Denmark. The town was founded in the year 1773 by the Moravian Church and named after the Danish king Christian VII.

The town used to be in the 2006 abolished Christiansfeld Municipality.
