Craig Rosebraugh is a militant environmental activist who has been associated with the Earth Liberation Front (ELF) and Animal Liberation Front (ALF).

Prior to 2003 Rosebraugh did not advocate violence against any living thing. He has never been so much as accused of participating in it. He has however publicly advocated the "massive property destruction, to online sabotage, to physical occupation of buildings" for financial centers in the United States. He is advocating "Large scale urban rioting" in the US and shutting down the media, specifically:

"Using any means necessary, shut down the national networks of NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, etc. Not just occupations but actually engage in strategies and tactics which knock the networks off the air."

He advocates guerilla tactics as opposed to any open confrontation:

"strike hard and fast and retreat in anonymity. Select another location, strike again hard and fast and quickly retreat in anonymity."

In 2003 his organization Arissa released a book titled The Legitimacy of Political Violence. The book examines the role that political violence has played in social justice struggles in the twentieth century, and concludes that a revolution which employs a diversity of tactics (including political violence) is needed in the United States.:"The primary goal of Arissa is to create a political and social revolution in the United States of America" -from their webpage.
