reason for article
I saw a reference to Gibbs Gardens on the Ball Ground city page at Ball Ground, Georgia - Wikipedia so I thought a link that to the Gibbs Gardens web site would be helpful. Also explored on Wikipedia and saw this list of Gardens the State of GA. List of botanical gardens and arboretums in Georgia (U.S. state) - Wikipedia it seemed that a link to the Gibbs Gardens web site would be appropriate in these two articles. I was told adding the link to the commercial web site was not OK. So, reading in the Introduction to Wikipedia that everyone is invited to add content, I have started trying to add an article about Gibbs, looking at other articles about private / paid gardens as a reference (examples are Callaway Gardens, Massee Lane Gardens - Wikipedia, Atlanta Botanical Garden - Wikipedia, Brookgreen Gardens - Wikipedia).

Maybe because I am a fan of Gibbs Gardens, it seems my first attempt is too enthusiastic. I get the COI concept in some situations, but it does seem that people will mostly want to create articles about topics they are interested in and know something about.

Based on feedback I have declared that I am a member at Gibbs and volunteered there, and will work hard to scale back my enthusiasm for the Garden, also doing more complete references.

Take 2 coming soon -
