Encina de San Silvestre is a village and municipality in the province of Salamanca, western Spain, part of the autonomous community of Castile-Leon. It is located 40 kilometres from the provincial capital city of Salamanca and has a population of 128 people.

Geography

The municipality covers an area of 23.76 km².

It lies 800 metres above sea level.

The post code is 37114.

Spanish poet and musician Juan del Enzina was born in the village.
