The Flag of the Treinta y Tres pays homage to the disembarkation of the Thirty-Three Orientals at the Agraciada Beach, on April 19, 1825. It has three horizontal stripes, the top one blue, the central one white and the bottom one red. It carries the words Libertad o Muerte (Liberty or Death) on the central stripe.
The Flag of the Treinta y Tres is flown alongside the National Flag and the Flag of Artigas on government buildings.
