Unnikrishnan also known as AP Unnikrishnan (1964–2024) was an politician from the Indian Union Dalit League (Caste wing of the Indian Union Muslim League) He serving as the General Secretary of Indian Union Dalit League [2] and serving as President of Malappuram District Indian Union Muslim League, He was serving as the district panchayat member of Trikkalangod in Malappuram district at 2015[3] and present[4]
Personal life
AP Unnikrishnan was born in Vengara, Malappuram District.[5]
Death
AP Unnikrishnan died of age-related disease at Karuna Cancer Centre at Palathingal near Tirurangadi, He was taken to Parappanangadi, and died there at a Karuna palliative care centre.[6]

IUML state president Sayyid Sadiq Ali Shihab Thangal, state general secretary P M A Salam among others reacted tributes[8]
Political views
He was known as the Dalit face of the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) and a close associate of the Panakkad family.[9][10]
