The paramount ruler of Arigidi is Zaki of Arigidi. The incumbent Zaki is Oba Yisa Olanipekun IV, who was selected in November 2009 following the death of the former king, Oba M.A Olanipekun III. The community is divided into three major section namely Agbaluku, Ijaja and Imo. Each section has quarters under them, and these quarters are ruled by High Chiefs.

Arigidi is a town in Akoko – precisely Akoko North West – of Ondo State, Nigeria.[1]
Tradition and setting
The paramount ruler of Arigidi is Zaki of Arigidi. The incumbent Zaki is Oba Yisa Olanipekun IV, who was selected in November 2009 following the death of the former king, Oba M.A Olanipekun III. The community is divided into three major section namely Agbaluku, Ijaja and Imo. Each section has quarters under them, and these quarters are ruled by High Chiefs.

Schools

Several primary schools owned by State government and private individual. Likewise secondary schools in the like of prestigious Akoko Anglican Grammar School, Greater Tomorrow International college, Okota High School among host of others. Agriculture and Industry Arigidi is known for farming. Farm product like cassava, yam, cocoyam vegetable are common in Arigidi. The major industry in the community is the perfect food industry, out of function for many years had be revive by the Ondo state administration led by Dr. Olusegun Mimiko.

People and culture

Arigidi is a community with the population of about six five thousand {according 2006 census}. The community comprises Christ followers, Anobi Mohammed followers and traditionalist.
